The Self-Care Day Menu: A Winter Evening Reset
International Self-Care Day falls on 24 July every year - a reminder that looking after yourself isn't indulgent, it's necessary. And with winter in full swing, there's no better excuse to stay in, slow down, and give your skin (and your nervous system) a proper break.
Consider this your menu for the evening. No plans, no notifications, just three simple steps between now and bedtime.
Wind Down
Cold nights are made for slow ones. Run a hot shower, get into something soft, and put your phone somewhere you can't hear it. If a stretch or a short walk earlier in the day fits, even better -but tonight's really about doing less, not more. Light a candle, make a tea, sit with nothing to do for twenty minutes. That's the whole assignment.
Patch Up
Once you're properly settled, it's time to let your skin in on the reset too. Start with a Polishing Peel Pad to gently resurface and prep, then finish with your silicone patches on whichever areas need it most - forehead, eyes, neck. The Medical-Grade Silicone gets to work overnight: holding your skin comfortably taut so it can't crease, encouraging circulation, and locking in hydration while you sleep.
Wake Up Better
Winter skin can feel like it's working against you -dry, dull, in need of a lift. Tomorrow morning, yours won't be. You'll wake up to skin that looks like it had the rest it needed, and a bit of that calm should carry into your day too.
